Gary attended McGeorge School of Law, in Sacramento, 1975-1978, after graduating from UC Davis and after seven years as an officer and pilot in the U.S. Air Force. He is licensed and has practiced as an attorney in California, Oregon and Nevada1 and in these jurisdictions’ Federal District Courts. His practice history is diverse, including both general and professional litigation, the representation of physicians, architects and engineers, and California utilities and governmental entities in lawsuits, arbitrations, mediations, administrative actions and appeals. Gary is a current member of the San Joaquin County Bar Association, and past member of the Board of Directors where he was instrumental in establishing and promoting the first continuing education programs for San Joaquin County lawyers. In his spare time, Gary enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife, Bonnie, and with their children and grandchildren.1Presently, inactive in the State of Nevada.
After obtaining his law degree, magna cum laude, from Western State University College of Law in 1987, Scott was admitted to practice law in California. Scott has over 25 years experience in the defense of medical malpractice claims and administrative investigations on behalf of physicians and surgeons as well as other healthcare professionals. Scott also has extensive experience in personal injury litigation matters where he has represented both plaintiffs and defendants. Scott is a member of the San Joaquin County Bar Association (former member of the Board of Directors) and the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California and Nevada. Scott is also licensed to practice in Federal Court in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. In his spare time, Scott enjoys traveling with his wife, Jobell, and spending time with his two adult daughters, Allyn and Laura.
